Pure Badger or Gray Badger is the term used to describe the most widely used badger hair in brush making. It is a flexible and thick hair, although remarkably soft, which is extracted from almost the entire body of the badger. The color fluctuates from glossy black to silvery black, passing through different shades of grey.
